Vita Student York represents one of RHA Furniture’s most extensive and dynamic projects, set within the historic walls of a former convent in the heart of York. This new student accommodation required a careful balance between preserving the site’s rich heritage and creating a vibrant, contemporary living space for students. RHA Furniture was delighted to take on this challenge, showcasing our versatility in catering to a wide range of project needs and design styles.

In this unique setting, we supplied hundreds of pieces of loose furniture, ensuring each item complemented both the historic architecture and the modern student lifestyle. Our contributions ranged from stylish chairs, tables, and sofas to fun, interactive elements like pool and air hockey tables, all designed to enhance the communal areas and create a welcoming, social environment. Every piece was meticulously selected to maintain the aesthetic integrity of the venue while providing comfort and functionality for the students.

The success of this project was further ensured by our dedicated team of skilled fitters, who expertly delivered and installed the furniture under the careful supervision of our onsite project manager. This project not only highlighted our ability to manage large-scale installations but also demonstrated our commitment to maintaining the character of heritage sites while meeting contemporary demands. The result is a vibrant, engaging space that respects its historical roots while offering students a modern, comfortable place to live and study.
