Richard Hunt as a 16-year-old started his professional career at Maple and Co. With the experience over the years, he progressed to becoming an Export Director for International manufacturer Hille and Co, licensing for Robin Day and Fred Scott.
RHA started as a consultancy until in 1994 business grew in the hospitality market. Particularly for McDonalds, where Richard was employed as a consultant when McDonalds decided to expand in the UK with 1000 stores.
RHA expanded market presence, opening a showroom in Richmond. Securing international contracts from Iceland to Barbados, furnishing restaurants for top name like Gordon Ramsey and Marco Pierre White.
The Richmond showroom was voted in 2003 as one of the top showrooms for modern furniture in the UK. We were delighed to have worked at Buckingham Palace and 10 Downing Street and won a contract in 2005
In 2006, RHA concentrated on contract business and moving its current office and showroom in Brentford. Export business grew with names like Hilton, working across Europe and a special range of furniture was developed for REGUS.
RHA’s one of many major project include furniture and joinery for Conrad Algarve, refurnishing of the Prestigious Sheraton in Addis Ababa and the business and first-class lounges at Heathrow for Singapore Airlines.
In 2020 Liese Brandt took over the directorship of the company having been Sales Director for many years. RHA continues into the next phase of their ever growing story…
